Gibson ES-175D Details

Acoustically, you can really hear the craftsmanship and quality of this instrument’s construction and it resonates well in all registers with a particularly detailed top end.

Plugging the instrument into a flat response amplifier truly reveals the rich tonality that the ES-175 is capable of and alongside the articulate jazz tones you’d expect from the front pickup there is a surprising array of blues and rock tones possible from the bridge pickup. You can hear straightway why players like Steve Howe of Yes and other prog rockers have favoured an ES-175D. Even funk rhythms sound totally authentic on this guitar

The guitar comes with an original plush lined hard case and is a perfect example of what has made this particular model of Gibson guitar so popular over the years. It plays great, sounds exceptional and looks every inch the classic vintage guitar. Go on, you know you want to.

The guitar arrived yesterday. It is excellent both in terms of playability and sound. In fact it is better than I expected. It has a very sweet balanced tone that makes it a good jazz guitar. Many thanks!

I received the guitar 10:30am on the dot. Basically it was 30 hours from London to my house in Arizona. That is amazing. The guitar is a beauty. For 42 years old it is in great shape, it's just like the one I had as a kid. Don't worry I will not be selling this one like I did my original one. Thanks again for all the personal service, it was a pleasure doing business with you. PS Thanks again for all your help in getting me this guitar. I haven't stopped playing it, except to sleep, since I got it.
