Description
Here's a nice twist. We have here an 'as new' Guild Manhattan from 2002, which was the last year of production. We also have (but haven't yet listed) an immaculate 1953 Manhattan, which was the first year of production. Nice huh?
Made in USA, the X-170 is fractionally smaller bodied than the 175, but both are basically Guild's take on the Gibson 175, and invariably less expensive. Many professionals argue that the Guild is a vastly under-rated and therefore underpriced guitar.
This one is in as new condition and seems to have been barely played. So you are effectively getting a new guitar that went out of production 6 years ago, for less money than it cost six years ago. That cant be a bad deal. Plus it's in that gorgeous Tennessee orange that shows the maple so well.
