60s Telestar by Kawai
Description
Funky, punky and most definitely sparkly, this Japanese made Telestar features a single pickup, double horns (a la Burns Bison), metal knobs and lots of green sparkle. Even the back of the body sparkles!
By the way, did we mention this Telestar is sparkly?
The finish is retro dandy through and through, and guaranteed to turn heads when you produce in public. There is a fracture at the top of the neck, running approximately 60% across the neck. It’s important to note that It's not broken and has held up without breaking and at full tension for many years, so there's no reason to suppose it won’t hold up indefinitely. The whammy bar is missing, as is the low E tuner collar, but hey, none of this detracts from the fact that this is one hell of a funky-looking Telestar.
